The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) has launched a free six-month initiative, Better Maternal Outcomes Rapid Improvement Network, designed for hospitals and health care systems with at least 1,000 deliveries per year. The goal of the network is to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to needed to reliably implement promising practices and improve care delivery for all women and newborns.
The first 6 month-wave of activities will begin in May 2019. Subsequent waves will invite providers in hospitals with smaller delivery numbers. Information on how to join, along with webinar recordings can be found on the Improvement Network’s website.
